International Freight Forwarding Apprenticeship

Designed for those who manage international freight trade

This Apprenticeship is for International Freight Forwarding Specialists who are employed within the Air, Road or Ocean pathways to ensure that the company they work for, and their clients remain compliant with all applicable customs, import and export laws and regulations. 

Key responsibilities could include a variety of tasks on a daily basis such as shipment bookings; creating the appropriate documents; liaison with carriers; ports and handling agents; transport requirements; sales quotations; invoicing; financial procedures.

Programme Value: £9,000 (funded by Levy or Government funding depending on company size)

Qualifications Gained: L3 Standard in International Freight Forwarding, L2 Functional Skills in maths and English (unless exempt with recognised prior learning)
