This Apprenticeship is for those that manage a team and/or projects, and achieves operational or departmental goals and objectives as part of the delivery of the organisation’s strategy.

Key responsibilities are likely to include creating and delivering operational plans; managing projects; leading and managing teams; managing change; financial and resource management; talent management; coaching and mentoring.

Overview of programme

Below are examples of what the Operations Manager Apprenticeship may include.

By selecting specific units, the Apprentices can also work towards achievement of the ILM Diploma and in doing so will also cover most of the knowledge and skills required for the Level 5 Apprenticeship.

Programme Value: £7,000 (funded by Levy or Government funding depending on company size)

Qualifications Gained: L5 Apprenticeship in Operations / Departmental Manager, ILM L5 Diploma in Management, L2 Functional Skills maths and English (unless exempt with recognised prior learning)
